Obituary:
John Clifford.
On Thursday morning John Clifford, of the early settlers of the East Side, died at his home, 802 Main st. n. e., at the advanced age of 79 years. The deceased was a native of Cork, Ireland, and for more than 35 years resided in St. Anthony parish, being a member of the St. Anthony total abstinence society since its organization almost. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William J. McHugh, residing at the above number. Services will be held this morning with requiem mass at St. Anthony church.
