Mrs. Amelia Davis, widow of the late Captain Charles B. Davis, died last evening at the family home, 217 Mt. Zoar street, after a brief illness, aged eighty years. The decedent is survived by five children, Mrs. N. J. Sargeant and John F. Davis, of Elmira; Charles B. Davis, of Breesport; Edward H. Davis, of Auburn; George M. Davis of Galveston, Texas and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also a sister, Mrs. Katurah Miller of Hazleton, Pa. The funeral will be held at the home Tuesday afternoon, the hour to be announced.
