Born in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Angelo and Beatrice (Marmotti) Bartoni.
Married Teresa Josephine Wechsler and had 2 sons, Joseph who died as an infant and Kenneth. Caffiro and Teresa celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary several years earlier.
He was a repairman for Coplay Cement Manufacturing Company for 15 years before retiring in 1970.
Caffi was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Stiles, Pa.
He will be remembered by his wife, Teresa; son, Kenneth C. of Coplay; six sisters, Lynda, wife of George Kreglow of Whitehall, Mrs. CHristina Marth, and Ida, wife of Joseph Moravek, both of Coplay, Mary BArtoni and Julia, wife of Joseph Wolfer, Both of Northampton, and Florence, wife of Myrl Carson of Lancaster, California; five brothers, Lebro, Ribello, Albert and Charles, all of Whitehall, and Peter of Catasauqua, and four grandchildren.
Services: January 18, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 4th and Chestnut Streets, Coplay. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment: January 18, St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
