He was born Sept. 13, 1962, in Odessa, where he lived as a citizen for 35 years.
Jimmie was a great dad, son, uncle and brother. He was always there for the people that need him most — his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Self of Big Spring.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Jimmy Hull officiating.
Survivors include his mother, Faye Self of Fort Worth; daughter, Ashley Self of Fort Worth; two sons, Joshua and Tyler Self, both of Fort Worth; two sisters, Tina Self of Fort Worth and Sherri Self of Tulsa, Okla.; and one nephew, Chance Self.
Funeral arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
