ANDERSON, Ind., March 20 - Barney Flanagan, 69, auctioneer, well known in eastern Indiana, died here Monday. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Victoria Flanagan, and the following children: Barney Flanagan Jr., Newcastle; Howard Flanagan, Indianapolis; William Flanagan, Connersville; Miss Hazel Flanagan, Mrs. Paul Stephens, Mrs. Thomas Little, Mrs. James McCory, Mrs. Rosa Lutz, Mrs. Ed Durham and Mrs. Fred Gaither of Anderson. Mr. Flanagan was born on the ocean while the ship on which his parents were enroute to this country from Ireland, was near the port of New Orleans.
