Mrs. Mary (Felix) Boyer, widow of William Boyer, passed away at her home, 557 Coleman Avenue, Moxham, at 1 o’clock this morning, aged 66 years and nine months. Mrs. Boyer’s death was due to paralysis, she having been stricken a week ago. Funeral services will be held at the Boyer home at 2:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon by the Rev. Emerson L. Nicely, pastor of the Moxham Evangelical Church, with interment in Grandview Cemetery. Mrs. Herman Hanson, of Montana, a daughter, was called to Johnstown a few days ago and her sister, Mrs. Frank Gutting, of Portland, Ore., started for here a day or so later, but became ill on the way and had to return home.
Mrs. Boyer was born in Shade Township, Somerset County, in September, 1862, a daughter of the Rev. George Felix, a minster of the Evangelical Church, and Mrs. Caroline (Allison) Felix. Both the Rev. and Mrs. Felix died almost at the same date in the fall of 1899 at Waterford, Westmoreland County. Mrs. Boyer was a sister of Daniel Felix, of Lower Yoder Township; Lorenzo Felix, of New York City, and George Felix, of near Waterford. Three Brothers—John, Thomas and James Felix—preceded her to the grave.

Miss Felix and William Boyer were married in this vicinity some years ago and for a long time they made their home in Franklin Borough. William Boyer was fatally injured while at work in Franklin plant in September, 1900. Mrs. Boyer is survived by these sons and daughters: Mrs. Anna Elkins, of Moxham; Mrs. Frank Gutting, of Oregon; Mrs. Herman Hanson, of Montana; Mrs. Alvin Boyer, of Seward, and William and Clara Boyer, at home; Mrs. Frank Howard, who died in January, 1918, was another daughter of the deceased.
