A native of Elkhart, he was born Aug. 23, 1934, to Albert and Ethel (Kreider) Bole,
and was married Sept. 10, 1960, in Elkhart, to Delores June Mock. Most of his lifetime
was spent in the area. He retired from Elkhart Rubber Works and was a member
of Goshen Moose Lodge 836.
Survivors include Mrs. Bole; a daughter, Debra L. McClane, Elkhart;
two sons, George C. Sheffer, Goshen, and Jeff Bole, Elkhart;
12 grandchildren;
two sisters, Hazel Crowder, Osceola, and Marie Cleveland, Union, Mich.;
and a brother, Albert Jr., Elkhart.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Dolly Bole; two brothers, Edward and James;
and a grandson, Michael C. Sheffer.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home,
where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday.
The Rev. Thomas Clark, pastor of Little Pine Church of the Brethren,
will officiate at the service.
Pallbearers for burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery will be Debra McClane, Chuck Warford, George Sheffer, Diane Sheffer, Jeff Bole and Chris Bole.
