Alvin Burk, 62, of 7l4 East Lincoln avenue, died at 3 ll o'clock Monday at the Culp funeral home. The Rev. T.E. George will officiate. Burial will be made in the Oak Ridge cemetery. The body will lie in state at the home until Monday morning.
Mr. Burk was born in Payne,Ohio, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Burk. He came to Goshen about l5 years ago from Millersburg. His wife, Cleo Musselman Burk, died about l5 years ago.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Raymond Shaffer, Goshen, John of Payne, and Webster of Butler, Ind. and three sisters, Mrs. Boston Rice of Attica, Ind., Mrs. John Fravey of Goshen, and Mrs. Edward Kurtz of Middlebury.
