Zella Mae Linville, 92, of Hammon, Oklahoma was born on June 6, 1926 in Alluwe, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Earl Lumm and Elvada Dale Minnear. She met her heavenly father on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Elk City Nursing Center in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Zella married her best friend and sweetheart, Glen Darrell Linville on December12, 1958 in Elk City, Oklahoma. Glen preceded her in death on September 13, 1985.

She enjoyed antique picking, reading, quilting, gardening, working in her yard and refinishing furniture. She was also a great cook.


Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Community Fellowship in Hammon, Oklahoma. Dolen Ivey will officiate. Interment will be at Red Hill Cemetery in Hammon, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.


Cherishing her memory is her son, Michael Linville; three daughters, Phyllis Packard of Hammon, Oklahoma, Kathy Christensen of Thomas, Oklahoma, Virginia Kelley of Hammon, Oklahoma; three brothers, Roy of Washington, Ray of Nowata, Oklahoma, Albert “Bub” of Nowata, Oklahoma, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. 


She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Elvada (Minnear) Lumm, husband, Glen Darrell Linville, two sisters and three brothers.
