Italian partisan and martyr of the ardeatine massacre. A Grenadiers Captain. He graduated in economics and business, and he held the rank of captain in the first Grenadier Regiment in Rome after returning from the war in the Balkans. Aladino was in the Italian capital during the days after September 8, 1943 and participated in the fighting of Cecchignola and Porta San Paolo. He went to clandestinity militating in the group 'Bandiera Rossa Roma', and immediately becomes an efficient commander of military expeditions against the nazi-fascists. He was arrested in February 1944 by the Gestapo after that the secret police had been informed of a secret meeting of the clandestine group. Aladino was tortured for a long time before being executed at the Fosse Ardeatine on March 24, 1944. His father, the poet Corrado Govoni, will compose the poem "La fossa carnaia ardeatina" in honor of his son in November 1944.
