At this time of great tension in the world, PLEASE BE KIND when making suggestions to F.A.G. Members who are selflessly giving of their time in making sure the people of the world are remembered upon their death.
My messages are turned off because I have had some people message with less than "stellar" comments or suggestions. We are all donating our time as members of FAG and we are human. Mistakes can be inadvertently made but can also be corrected if the suggestions are given with respect.

If you do not supply me with primary sources for your edits, I will decline them. Period. If it is important to you to change the details on a memorial, it is equally important to me to make sure those details are accurate.
In an attempt to keep Find A Grave accurate, please do not send parental links that do not match the information on the memorial page. Death records do occasionally contain errors as does some of the information placed on head stones but I will not change information on a Memorial unless you provide other primary sources to back up your suggestion.

To all the volunteers - Keep up the good work!!

I try to research as much as possible, as time permits, to make sure the memorials are as accurate as possible and I have also assumed memorials that were no longer managed by the creator of the memorial. I am working on adding information to those memorials as time permits as well.

If a memorial already has 1 or more head stone photographs I feel it does not mean you shouldn't post another photograph, instead, it gives a history of the head stone or grave stone. It shows that someone has stood at the foot of that grave and are honoring that person in the same way that others have. Many stones deteriorate and some are sadly vandalized. Each photo of the grave honors the person through the years.

My effort on Find A Grave is not to be the "best or have the most" of anything. My effort is my way of honoring people I have never met and have absolutely no tie to. I feel that if I come across a person who has passed away and does not yet have a memorial it was directed my way for a reason. I want to honor them...that's it.

Thank you to all who have taken gravestone photographs for the memorials I manage. They are very, very appreciated.
