Experienced genealogist, amateur(ish) archaeologist, studying WWI & taphophile!
**The majority of requests I make for Memorial transfer will be for my own big family!

HELLO fellow helpers :)
** I am working through messages - as always, I will answer each of them asap, I am now at October - your messages are brilliant, taking a bit of work to research so I can answer questions & update individual Memorials for your information, very interesting. I also love hearing of each family tale, thankyou so much for sharing with me.
I am now at October, loads of messages, please bare with me.
April 2024 **

*PLEASE add Memorial Numbers when messaging as I have many people with the same name -
I try to keep Memorials as accurate as possible, it would help if you could suggest records to verify info or may be declined. Thankyou. :)
**Please don't attach COPYRIGHT photo's to memorials.

and a soldiers fame is dear.
Nowhere will he be forgotten,
Least of all forgotten here."

A memory for the perish'd ship!
A love-thought for the drown'd!
A prayer to God for all who sunk
Into the sea profound!
And in the great bark of the world
May those who stride the deck,
Be ever warn'd of such a fate.
And armed for such a wreck!

in the 'Illustrated London News', 29th July, 1843).

For suggestions & corrections to Memorials, please use the "EDIT" tab & "SUGGESTED EDITS" as it connects to correct Memorial.

**I return frequently to Memorials adding more information,
dates, transcribe headstones, link memorials etc as I research, for families to read.

***THANKYOU to people who send me a kind word when I send 'updates' as I
stumble across a Memorial during my "to-ing & fro-ing" -

~~

I may ask for transfer of a Memorial so I can update from various sources - but I am happy to transfer back to you if I am not related to the person. :)
[I welcome transfer of Memorials also, as 'carers' step-back from frequent updates, should you wish me to research for you, just ask.
Thankyou for the privilege.] ;)

****"Even a little detail can mean the world to someone remembering their loved ones!"
- many people are not be able to research on their own. :)
