Psalm 16: 5-6 (NASB)
"The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and my cup. You support my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me."

I was interested in my family history when my paternal grandparents passed away in the early 1980's. My parents gave me their family genealogy information and books. I jumped into genealogy with both feet! In 2003 I was excited to use computers to do my research. It is exciting to see how genealogy is expanding all the time!

My parents and brother are now deceased, so I am an orphaned only child. I am determined to carry on the memories of my family for my adult children and grandchildren whom I love so much!

In January 2017, I got more curious about my roots, so I decided to jump on the DNA train and tested with 7 companies. I also gift tested my relatives to find more answers. I am determined to break my maiden name brick wall. DNA cousin matching and trees sure has brought me closer to breaking that wall!
I've learned so much about my origins that my family never new and gained a new surprise cousin in the process. I am basically European: British & Irish, French & German, and Scandinavian...You can find me on Ancestry, Family Tree DNA, 23andMe, GEDmatch, FamilySearch, MyHeritage, Newspapers.com, and Wikitree! I take pride in creating correct memorials in every site I am on.

You can also find me in many Facebook genealogy groups. Surnames I am researching are: Hughey, Elliott, Hurt, Ball, Blenkarn, Gillum, Chupp, Miller, Heeren, Yoder, Toliver, Poyser, Eldridge Mast, Reed, Stamper, Stutzman, Ardley Samples, Fletcher, Tunnell...

If I have created a memorial of your loved one and are closer in relation to that person than I am, please ask me to transfer it to you and I will be happy to do so!
