The spelling of this cemetery is Machpelah - at least 3 cemetery transcription books misspell the name as Macpelah - leaving out the letter "H". I have had numerous people contact me to inquire of the correct spelling.

Map of MaChpelah Cemetery, Lititz, PA. Main Entrance is on South Broad Street (Rt. 501), another entrance is on S. Spruce Street. The land for this Cemetery was purchased by St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church (original church was on S. Spruce St. - present church is now on W. Orange St., Lititz) in 1886. There is a Book of Cemetery records at the Lititz Public Library in the Genealogy Room that has more information about the burials. Also in the Genealogy Room is a computer which has the Lititz Newspaper File going back to the 1870's.
