Sites Cemetery rests on private property with no road access. It can easily be seen from the small town of Sites, California because of the tall cedar trees. It was once maintained by a youth group, but has not been in years. The property owners would be happy for someone to take on this project. Many of the stones are broken and/or so deep under star-thistle and burrs that it is difficult to find them.

The Sites Family is at the center of this cemetery. Most of the family plot has eloborate headstones. It must have been beautiful once in this rural, pastoral valley.
