This photo is of the Dickerson Farm Cemetery near the Ovid Dump on Rt.138 near Rt.89.
It is not the Old Ovid Cemetery in the Village, near the Court House. There are 2 different burial sites.

This is a picture of the old Ovid cemetery behind the Dickerson Farm in Ovid Area. The Dickerson Farm is accessible from on highway 138 (North Townline Road between Ovid and Romulus) about a half a mile west of highway 89 in the Ovid Area. There is a farm set off the main road which you can see down a long driveway (It is currently painted grey). You can knock on the door to ask permission to visit the cemetery, which is further south of the creek behind the house nestled in a grove of trees. About 40% of the gravestones remain, but there is an Ovid Historian that has records of those buried there. It may not be complete, but there is a list made some years ago that is more complete than what is visible today.
