Road and 500 meters west of Gills Bridge Road, Training Area 55. The cemetery is overgrown but easily identifiable and measures approximately 17 by 27 meters. It has a
fieldstone wall in fair condition and 33 grave depressions oriented east-west (Plate 2). The only possible headstone visible is a fieldstone marker. The cemetery is associated
with what appear to be the remains of the church located approximately 90 meters to the southwest. The cemetery was marked as "relocated" on the 1944 Property Map in Tract
K-497 owned by William Schnell (see Tables 1 and 2 and Figure 1). The burials were relocated to Butterwood Church in 1941-42 by Hamner-Bevell Funeral Home. Godburn lists 37 individuals as having been moved: Lucy Carter, Sallie Russell, 5 unknown Schnells, 2 unknown Schnell infants, 7 unknown Eppes, and 21 unidentified individuals
(Godburn 1977: Appendix G-3)."
