Photos

A pauper farm was established on Chicago Avenue prior to 1884. Over the years, the location had been lost until subdivision development began to uncover remains back in the early 1980's. It has since been lost again, but there is a wide general area where it is thought to be.

The information regarding the graves are very sparse. There is a note that the superintendent was to start a journal documenting the individuals buried there. Whether this journal still exists, we do not know.
