The church building and the chimney still stand and used as a storage shed, but the steeple, alter and stained glass windows were torn down, removed and stored in the lumber yards loft.
Eventually the lumber yard was bought by another party and the old wooden building torn down and a metal shed was put up in it's place by the new owners. During construction all the stored church property was stolen.
The old cemetery property with the few stones that were not removed are located in the N.W. corner of the village of Collins, the RR tracks bordering it on the north side, farm fields on the west with private property and homes on the east and south sides..
The majority of the cemetery graves (approximately a dozen) were dug up, caskets and remains removed as well as their stones and moved to a new location. They were all moved to the 'SCHLESWIG Cemetery' in Rockland, near Kiel. Only four headstones and three flat in-ground foot stones remain on the old Saint Paul's site.
The Ed Schroeder family owns the south bordering farm land. One large headstone and the three flat foot stones of the Schroeder family were left because they are Schroeder family markers. For many years, of the stones left behind, Schroeder's were the only ones cared for and trimmed around. The rest of the approximate acre was over grown with weeds and tall grass. However more recently it has been cared for, mowed and kept free of uncut grass and weeds by Ronald (Ronnie) Kleist of Collins.
The Schroeder stone is in the S.W. edge of the cemetery with it's three in ground flat stones directly to the east of it. Meta Schwanke is on the N.W. edge next to the field.
The other two stones, William and Caroline Duchow (large gray stone on raised cement base) and Henrietta Ringhand, Bankert, (an older tall slim 4 sided tower that has been knocked over), are next to each other and more to the N. E. side of the old cemetery.
