Oakland Cemetery

Small cemetery that sat below the original site of First Baptist Church (Ebenezer Baptist Church) on the cliffs leading the Black Warrior River. According to historian Matt Clinton, the cemetery was lost in 1912 as the L&N Railroad tracks were installed.
The tracks of the old L&N Railroad were removed about 2001 and the Tuscaloosa News now sits near the old site.
