Add PhotosUniversity Place Cemetery was situated on the block bounded by University Place to the east, 12th Street to the south, 13th Street to the north and Fifth Avenue to the west.
It served as the joint burial ground for
(1) the Associate Presbyterian Church,
(2) the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and
(3) the Reformed Covenanted Church.

▫ Cemetery disposition: Destroyed.

In 1851, burials below 86th Street in Manhattan were banned.
The property was sold in 1853.
It has been redeveloped and, until recently, it was the site of Greenwich Village's Bowlmor Lanes. A 23-story condominium tower is being built on the site (110 University Place).
The present disposition of interments formerly at the site is unknown.
