Add PhotosThis is several miles North of Goshen town area. This Cemetery is located off of Pike County 2201 near Mill Creek before Thomas Crossroads going from Elam Church back to Hwy 29. Pike County Hwy 2201 was formerly named Hwy 1132.
Newer information as of June 2018, indicates the location could be near T10N, R19E, Sections of 26 and 35. More information to come. Several people are working on the location and sharing information.
This cemetery has also been known as the Fowler and the Folmar Cemetery. More recent info indicates the land was originally owned by the Fowler Family and was bought by Jacob Folmar. After Jacob's death, his wife Sarah "Edwards" Folmar married Matthias Snider. Hence, the cemetery became known as the Snider Cemetery.
The Snider Cemetery is listed in the Pike County Historical and Genealogical Society book XXXV , No.'s 2 & 3 and referred to as Cemetery 148 and describes a location off Hwy 2201 above.
At last report, the gravestones no longer exist or are no longer visible. More research is needed.
