This cemetery is located across the road from the Robert Smith farm whose address is 242 Demossville Road. This cemetery is in the extreme SW corner of the county. Only a couple hundred feet from the Licking River. They even have a Butler address I'm told. Right across the river is DeMossville and the mouth of Grassy Creek which featured prominently in the early history of the County. There was a ford or ferry there very early on. I think it was called the Robert's ferry. There is mention in the early Court Orders about a road from the Kennedy ferry at Belmont (Mentor) to the Robert's ferry.
