The graveyard is maintain by the West Union Friends (Quaker)Church. The address I found on-line is 1038 W. SR 42, Monrovia, IN Keeping the cemetery grounds is very expensive, yet this small church has been maintaining the cemetery for yards. If you have relatives in this cemetery, I think it would be nice to write the church a letter of appreciation for their hard work and provide a donation to continue to keep the cemetery well maintained. I am not a member and I don't know anyone from the church that maintains the grounds. I am just a volunteer out taken pictures for this site. As you can see from this photo, some of the tombstones are so old that the face is no longer readable. I was at the site just prior to their annual clean up of the cemetery, and even at that point, it still look very nice and maintain. kjw
