Columbia Gardens is a very large cemetery. Original burials date from about 1917 when it was opened as a public cemetery. Although the cemetery was originally in a more rural area, it is now totally surrounded by residential development.
This is a very beautiful cemetery to stroll through with various types of burials representing a variety of cultures and many interesting stones (even one with an internet address).

Located in Arlington, VA, the main entrance to Columbia Gardens Cemetery is on Jackson Street. The cemetery is bordered on the north by 3rd St. and on the south by Arlington Blvd. (US Hwy 50). The cemetery is beautifully landscaped and very well maintained.

This structure is in the cemetery and appears to be a series of modern crypts.
