It was very hard to take a photo that was representative of Mount Carmel.

This cemetery has no actual gate or entrance to denote the location of its boundaries. Its burial area is often confused with the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

To get to this cemetery, one must enter the Rose Hill gates at 4th or 6th Streets, and then drive through Rose Hill to get to Mount Carmel.

This photo is taken at the road on the far southwest corner of section 5 (see map). This view is facing north and slightly west with section 1 in the far (middle of photo) background. Sections 2 and 3 are just to your left in this picture.

This photo is taken at the road on the far west side of section 5 (see map). This view is facing east with section 6 in the far background. The 6th Street entrance for Rose Hill would be on the far back-right side of this photo--although the entrance can't be seen in this picture.

There is some confusion as to where Mount Carmel's boundaries exist within the Rose Hill - Mount Carmel cemeteries. Hopefully this map will show the boundaries of the two cemeteries, and will allow people to place the memorials in the correct cemetery.
