She joined the LDS Church in 1849 at the age of 9 in England and came with her family to America in 1859. They settled in Coalville, Summit, Utah.
Eliza married George Henry Peterson, son of Charles Sreeve Peterson and Ann Bunting (Dennis) Peterson, 13 March 1860 in Sugar House, Salt Lake, Utah. George Henry Peterson also later married Mary Ann Robinson in 1871 and Mary Elizabeth Robinson in 1873. I don't know if these two ladies were related, but I would guess they were given their names, and also the fact that they were both born in the same part of England.
Eliza died Coalville and was buried there 2 June 1908.
