Fulton Times March 29 1905

The Rev. H.C Abbott, agedd 74, died at his home on Oneida street on Wednesday morning, after a lingering illness with stomach trouble. The deceased had been in the ministry since 1859 and had always remained in the Northern New York conference. The funeral services will be held from the late home, on Friday afternoon Presiding: Elder A C Loucks and the Rev, John Richards
officiating. Interment will be in Mt Adnah, The deceased is survived by his widow, five daughters, Mrs. Anna Flack and Miss Lou Abbott of Manchester, Mrs. Grace Bouton, Syracuse, Dora of Carmel and Lena of this city, and two sons, George of Oswego and Leon of this city. Five brothers also survive.
Rev. Henry Crounce Abbott was the son of Henry and Maria "Mary"(Fredendall) Abbott. Mary Fletcher (Newman) Abbott was his 1st wife. They were married January 8, 1862. Mary died February 2, 1874. Leonora "Nora" M. (Norton) Abbott was his 2nd wife. They were married in 1877. Leonora died December 17, 1933. Rev. Abbott was a minister in the Black River Conference and Northern New York Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
