Funeral services for Ozro Earl Lowe, 85, a retired farmer of Baxter, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Baxter Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Hawkins of the Boma Church of God and Ernest Abston, minister of
the Baxter Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in the Smellage Cemetery. Mr. Lowe's death occurred Thursday at the Cedar Grove Nursing Home, Quebeck, following a long illness.
He was a native of Putnam County, son of Jasper D. and Margaret Conway Lowe and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ella Lowe, 4 sons; James Arvel Lowe, Solon Lowe, both of Boma, John Lowe of Lockport, IL, Dillon Lowe, Baxter; daughter, Mrs. Opal Maynard, Baxter; brother, Solon Lowe, Silver Point, Rt. 1, Putnam Co., TN. 20 grandchildren, 32 greatgrandchildren.
and 3 great great grandchildren.
