LAST RITES FOR R. R.
DYE TUESDAY
Robert R. Dye, age 77, died
early Sunday night in a local
hospital after a lingering
illness of several weeks. Mr.
Dye was born in Russell County,
Virginia, the so of the late
Alfred and Eliza Dye. Surviv-
ing besides his wife are the
following children: Ruey,
Robert, and Gaines Dye, Mrs.
Jack Horton, and Mrs. Ellis
Rimmer all of Richlands. He
is also survived by one brother,
William Dye of Swords Creek
and one sister, Mrs. Virginia
Russ of St. Paul, Virginia.
Funeral services were held
Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m.
from the Methodist Church with
the Rev. C. W. Wilson in charge
assisted by Rev. A. B. Williford.
Interment was in the Hankins
Cemetery. The remains were
removed from the Farmer Funeral
Home to the residence of the
deceased Monday afternoon.
