Heart Attack Is Fatal for Ida C. Gray of Rossville

Ida C. Gray, 86, of Rossville, died at the home of her son, Paul, yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock after suffering a heart attack. She had been ill for the past two weeks.

A native of Clinton Co., she was born April 23, 1864, daughter of James and Amanda Ricker. In 1882 she was married to Walter W. Gray, who preceded her in death in 1938. She was a member of the Universalist church.

Surviving besides the son at whose home she died are another son, John C. Gray of Thorntown; three daughters, Mrs. Maude Wright of near this city, Mrs. Mae Beil of Buck Creek, and Mrs. Marie Gochenour of Rossville; a sister, Mrs. Lovie Thomas of Frankfort, R. R. 2. Three brothers and three sisters and two grandchildren preceded her in death. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be Sunday at 2 p. m. from the L. E. Moore and Son funeral home in Rossville with interment in Kilmore cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 o'clock this afternoon.
