Age 86, of Girard, he was a son of the late Andrew and Anna Evans Sabol. Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 494 in Girard. He was well known locally as the owner and operator of Frank Sabol Trucking, providing fresh citrus fruits to the area for over 59 years. Frank enjoyed going to auction sales and collecting antiques, especially old tractors and old cars. He also enjoyed baseball and listening to polka music.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Becky Sabol, a son, Sam Sabol, six sisters: Marian Baracka, Margaret "Peggy" Kozak, Agnes Gido, Ann Winkler, Julie Chulick, Ethel Bensur; and three brothers: Andy and Albert, and Rudy Sabol.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean Fiesler Sabol, a daughter, Diann Sabol of Girard; two sons: Frank D. Sabol of Girard, Joseph P. Sabol and his wife Nancy of Fairview; a sister, Elaine Barner of Lake City; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Burial in Platea Cemetery.
