Timothy S. Kleffner, age 59, passed away July 12, 2014. He was born on September 11, 1954 to Norbert and Irene Kleffner in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1973. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973-1979 as an Air Force Security Police and was a member of the Air Force Tactical Neutralization Team, and Fire Arms Instructor.

Timothy Kleffner was employed by the Corpus Christi Police Department. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and cousin. He enjoyed riding his bike, walking, and visiting with family and friends. Timothy had a black belt in Aikido, as well as taught Aikido. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and has been a church usher at St. Philips and St. Patrick Catholic Church. He owned Tim Kleffner Custom Leather and studied under Chan Geer. He taught leather tooling and had won national awards for his leather works. He worked in the crime lab and traffic division with the Police Department. In 2007, his work was on the cover of Leather Crafters/Saddler Makers Journal. Timothy participated as a PTA President at Wynne Seale and he was a Jack of all trades. He was a great piano player, gardener, was also in the Civil Air Patrol, played several instruments, and he was a mass server in his youth.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Norbert and Irene Kleffner and baby brother, Joseph Kleffner.

Timothy is survived by his siblings, Veronica Kleffner, and Diane Bean; nieces and nephews, Yvonne Bean Gallant and Danny Gallant, Alyssa and JJ Sauceda, Gereson Gallant, Michelle Galvan, Rodolfo Galvan, Alex and Kaitlynn Bustos; and his special friends, Chan Geer, Joe Wamsley, Ignacio 'Nacho'Perez, Deacon Mike Raven, Mary and Bill Pittaway, and Jerry Speed.

Interment to be held at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Rodolfo Galvan, Jerry Speed, Dennis Giles, Jimmy Ramirez, Scott Leeton, Doug Giles, Alex Bustos, and JJ Sauceda.
