"ROBERT FLOWERS OF CANTON DIES AT 58
"CANTON- Robert E. Flowers, 58, owner and operator of Flowers Trucking Co., died at 1:58 p.m. yesterday at Graham Hospital. He lived at 35 Sycamore Dr. and had been in ill health several weeks.

"He was born in Canton March 16, 1907, a son of Emory and Mary Robinson Flowers. He married Nora Johnson Aug. 2, 1928 in Galesburg. She survives.

"Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Hornstein of 2400 Wagoner Dr., Peoria; five grandchildren; one brother, Russell G. Flowers of Canton; and four sisters, Mrs. Mae Wright of Canton, Mrs. Zelma Binns of Homewood, Mrs. Wilma Voorhees of Springfield, and Mrs. Barbara Huffman of Peoria.

"He was a member of Morningstar Lodge, Peoria Consistory, Royal Arch Masons, Mohammed Temple Shrine, Spoon River Valley Shrine Club, Order of Eastern Star, and the Elks.

"Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Murphy Memorial Home, the Rev. Stanton Curry officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

"Memorial contributions may be directed to Graham Hospital Building Fund."
