He came to Nebraska with his parents when nine years of age, and grew to manhood near Farnam. He was a young man of estimable character, a great home lover, and beloved by all who knew him. He was converted last winter during revival meetings in Farnam, and has been attending the Methodist Episcopal church and was a member of the young men and ladies Sunday School class in this church.
He leaves to mourn his untimely death, his father, mother, one sister and one brother, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. P.J. Kirk, and the remains were laid to rest in the Farnam Cem.
Lloyd Smith departed this life March 4th to join the Heavenly Angels. The Reaper has come to take to himself his own, tis a mystery we can't understand he has gone to answer the last Roll Call, all was done that loving hands and kind friends could do, he has gone but will never be forgotten.
