NORMAN TENNANT

Norman R. Tennant, 83, of Hundred, WV died Saturday, May 30, 2015 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

He was born June 29, 1931 at Miracle Run, a son of the late Cloman Tennant and Laura Berdine Tennant.

Mr. Tennant retired from Pratt and Whitney with 39 years of service.

Norman was a United States Army Veteran.

Surviving are one son and a daughter-in-law, John Tennant and his wife Nona of Willington, CT; three grandchildren, Sabrina Tennant Carter, John Tennant, and Matthew Tennant; two great-grandchildren, Elley Grace Carter and Marcus Williams; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Kenneth Tennant, Wilbur Tennant, Vernon Tennant, Noel Tennant, Joe Tennant, Melvin Tennant, and Jack Tennant; and four sisters, Mary Tennant, Irene Freeman, Leona Miller and Geraldine Freeland.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-8 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Park Cemetery on Miracle Run.
