LaVera L. (Clark) Seifert, 91, of Jamestown, MO passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the California Care Center. She was born on April 7, 1924 to Grover and Lydia (Schull) Clark. On February 24, 1946 she was married to Robert C. (R.C.) Seifert at Clarksburg, MO. By Rev Ivan Dameron. R.C. preceded her in death on October 31, 2013. She was a homemaker and farmer. She loved making Quilts and attending to her flower garden. She was the longest attendance member of Grace United Methodist Church in Jamestown. She is survived by one son; Lanny Seifert (Linda) of Hallsville, two daughters; Helen Poehlmann (Edwin) of Jamestown, and Carleen McDonald (Gary) of Centertown, six grandchildren; Ron Poehlmann, Brenton Seifert, Carol Gilpin, Tena Wilson, Cheryl Recker, Ashley Seifert, nine great-grandkids, and three great-great-granddaughters, one brother; Gene Clark of Kansas, one sister; Lanore LaVerne Bressler of O’Fallon, sister-in-law Carla Walters (John) of Owensville, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son Eddie Seifert, and two grandsons, Dale McDonald, Robert Poehlmann. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Grace United Methodist Church in Jamestown, MO. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Jones. Burial will be at Grace United Methodist Cemetery in Jamestown. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 1:30-3 P.M. at the church. Memorials are suggested to The Family of LaVera Seifert for Muscular Dystrophy Research or Donors Choice c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home.
