Born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, he was a offrnsive lineman at Auburn University Alabama, when he was selected in the third round of the 1975 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. For six seasons, he played for the Los Angeles Rams (1975) and Washington Redskins from (1976-80). He died at age 48 in Boca Raton, Florida.
