Robert D. Headley Sr., 73, of Allegheny Township died at 9:50 a.m. Monday (April 22, 2002) in the Highland Center, Brackenridge.
He was born Oct. 3, 1928, in Allegheny Township.
Mr. Headley was a foreman at Don Mart Mushroom Farm, West Leechburg, and worked at Accra Tool, Washington Township.
He enjoyed word puzzles, watching television, caring for his dogs and eating out with his son.
Survivors include two sons, Robert D. Headley Jr. of Lower Burrell and Clyde E. (Jean) Headley of Butler; three grandchildren; two brothers, the Rev. William (Lois) Headley of Rural Valley and Thomas E. (Charlotte) Headley of Allegheny Township; and a sister, Mrs. Donna Jean (Martin) Kotvas of Ridgway.
He was preceded in death by a son, Martin L. Headley; and his parents, Linley R. and Sydney Brown Headley.
Friends will be welcomed by his family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at CLAWSONS, Second at Main, Leechburg, where funeral ceremonies will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday. Officiating will be the Rev. Randall W. Headley. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
