Rosemary L. McGowen Wilson, of Rome, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2016 with her loving family by her side. Rose or Rosie, as she was called by her family and friends, was born in Canajoharie, NY on February 13, 1938, the daughter of the late George H. “Mack” McGowen and Margaret Quackenbush.
She is survived by three children; ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; a very loving brother; a special friend; several nieces, nephews and beloved friends. She was predeceased by a brother Harold McGowen, a sister Geraldine Finster, a daughter Rosemary and son-in-law Keith Younglove.
