David was born in Flint, Michigan on September 30, 1934, the son of the late Alexander and Katharina (Asmus) Seifert and was a resident of Flint all of his life.
On September 9,1961 he married Genevieve Trout.
Mr. Seifert retired from GM in 1995, after 43 years of service.
He also owned Seifert's Coin Laundry and Dry Cleaners from 1984-2015.
Surviving are wife, Genevieve; niece, Lori Rousseau; nephew, Nathan Cockram; great-nephew, Kyle Rousseau; nephew, Shane Rousseau;
sister, Janie Retzloff; sister, Ruth (Coy) Thomason;
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Leah (Lawrence) Mills,
Odelia (Clarence) Leonhardt, Martha (Harold) Fritzler, Rachel (Carl) Nigh; niece and nephew, Marilyn Sue and Phillip Paris.
