Marie M. Phillips, 81, of Waynesburg R.D. 5, died at 7:05 a.m. Monday, January 6, 1992, in Franklin Care Center, Waynesburg, following a one-year illness.
She was born December 2, 1910, in Brave, a daughter of John William and Lucy Jane Conaway Cumberledge.
A homemaker, she lived her entire life in Greene County.
She was a member of the Rolling Meadows Church of God and the ladies ministry of the church.
On July 25, 1954, she married Tracey E. Phillips, who died April 9, 1965.
Surviving are a daughter, a son, two sisters, a brother; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are seven brothers, Dick, Edward, Artie, Merle and Norval Eddy and Leroy and Fred Cumberledge; and a sister, Ella Phillips.
