Minnie L., daughter of Stephen and Esther (Mickley) Troxel, was born in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, April 29, 1850, and died November 30, 1928, aged 78 years, 7 months and 1 day, death resulting from pneumonia, following a stroke of paralysis sustained five weeks ago.

In early childhood she accompanied her parents to this county, where she grew to womanhood. She was married June 6, 1868, to William Rothenberger, who died in September, 1903. To this union was born one son, M. R. Rothenberger, of Frankfort.

Mrs. Rothenberger was united in marriage to William Kent, February 1, 1914.

In early life Mrs. Kent united with the Reformed church at St. Luke, transferring her membership to the Presbyterian church at Pleasant Hill. On moving to Mulberry she united with the Reformed church, of which she has been a member for a quarter of a century.

She is survived by the husband, son, one sister, Mrs. Charles Sharp, of McGrawsville, Ind.; two brothers, Daniel and Matthias Troxel, of Frankfort.

Mrs. Kent was an active member of the ladies' aid societies, loyal to her church and Sabbath school. When health would permit, her place was always filled. Her life was one of quiet fidelity; in her home, kind, careful, and hospitable. Those who were greeted at her threshold and entertained in her home cannot forget her cordial hospitality, for she ever loved to make others happy.

She will be missed by all with whom she associated, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her bereaved husband and son, who with confidence can say:

"E'en for the dead I will not bind my soul to grief,
Death cannot long divide,
For is it but as though the rose that climbed my garden wall
Had blossomed on the other side.
Death doth hid – But not divide,
Thou art but on Christ's other side!
Thou art with Christ and Christ with me.
In Christ united still are we."

The funeral service was conducted at the Reformed church, Sunday afternoon, by Revs. Snyder and Bigler, and the interment was in St. Luke's cemetery.
