R. Coleman Massey, well known Parkersburg resident and farmer of Washington Bottom, died Sunday noon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. (illegible) Springer, Dilloway street. He was born Dec. 28, 1850, and was married in 1880 to Miss Josephine Badgley who survives him. He joined the Christian church ar an early age.
Three children in addition to his wife, survive him: Mrs Springer, Arch D. Massey, of Parkersburg, and Grady of Columbus, OH. Three brothers and five sisters are also living: Mrs. Monroe Wigal, Mrs. Otto Camp, Mrs. Joe Winans and Jerome Massey, of New Elgand; Mrs. Simon Adams of Belpre, Mrs Andrew Haislep, Washington Bottom, Alex of Huntington and Ira of Carrollton, Ohio. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
