Toliver Caswell Craig was taken by his parents to Carthage, Jasper County, Missouri, in the spring of 1866 and returned to Richardson County, Nebraska, in the fall of 1881. Four years later, when they moved to Frontier County Nebraska, he rode horseback to Callaway County, Missouri and spent the winter there. In the spring of 1886 he rode out to Frontier County and in 1889 he homesteaded land in Lincoln County Nebraska, south of Brady. About 1897 he bought land in Frontier County and farmed there until March 1908 when he moved his family to Twin Falls County, Idaho. He was a farmer all his life. He has deeds in North Platte and Stockville, Nebraska and in Twin Falls, Idaho. In Idaho he farmed near Filer for three years, them moved to a farm near Rogerson where they lived for twenty five years. In 1935 they moved to Gooding County, Idaho and four years later to Twin Falls.
