" FUNERAL SET FRIDAY FOR P.F. KLINGLER
Knox - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Roy P. Stuart Funeral Home at Knox for Peter F. Klingler, 77, of Knox RD2, retired employe of North Penn Gas Company. Mr. Klingler died unexpectedly Tuesday evening in his home. Rev. Lewis R. Fox, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Union Cemetery. Mr. Klingler was born September 4, 1893, in Turkey City, a son of Charles and Katherine Martz Klingler, and lived his entire life in the Knox area. He was married September 16, 1919, to the former Jessie Dittman. She died in 1928. Mr. Klingler was employed by the North Penn Gas Company from 1926 until his retirement in 1958. He also had been active in farming for a number of years. He was a member of the Rod and Gun Club of Knox. Surviving are three sons, Harrison Klingler of Knox RD2, Jack L. Klingler of Turkey City and Joseph E. Klingler of Genesee; five brothers, Edward Klingler of Emlenton RD3, Daniel Klingler of Pleasantville, Earl Klingler of Titusville, Charles Klingler of Foxburg, and James P. Klingler of Fairborn, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Harrison (Emma) Jones of Erie and Mrs. Howard (Katherine) DeHart of Emlenton RD3, and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A son, a grandson, two sisters and a brother are deceased. Friends are being received at the funeral home."
