Lucille Pearl McCullock was born June 10, 1941, in Grand Island, Nebraska, to Eddie and Mabel (Swartz) Mason. She passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2006, at her daughter's home in Oakland, Nebraska, at the age of 65 years.

Lucille's family traveled as she was growing up. She attended country school in rural Decatur through the sixth grade.

On January 4, 1961, Lucille married Willie LeRoy McCullock in Dakota City, Nebraska. They made their home in rural Thurston County before moving to Decatur, where throughout their 42 years of marriage, she stayed busy as a homemaker. Lucille enjoyed shopping and traveling but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Lucille was confined to her home for the past several years because of Alzheimer's Disease.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jesse; and two brothers, Willis & Tommy Mason.

Survivors include her husband: Willie LeRoy McCullock of Decatur; daughter & son-in-law: Brenda & Todd Hunter of Oakland, Nebraska; two sons: Roy Lee & Robert McCulloch both of Decatur; 16 grandchildren, which include Sebrina Mason, Brenda Mason, Kevin Hunter, Brock Hunter, Jessica Hunter, Landon Clay, Jessica and Jeremy Ogle; one great grandson, Gage Ogle; four sisters: Viana Kotz, Tootsie Swartz, Annie Lou Zimmerman and Rosie Mason all of Sioux City; two brothers, Roy Mason of Central City, Nebraska, Johnny Mason of Minnesota.

Graveside Service was held Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Decatur, Nebraska, with Rev. Philip Sloat officiating.

Special music was also provided by Rev. Sloat.

Visitation was held Friday from 1 - 8 p.m. at Pelan Funeral Services Tekamah.
