Mary was a native of Wolfsville and a life-long member of St. Marks Lutheran Church there.
Mary Jane is survived by seven daughters, Lola Florence Valentine and husband Quinter E., Beaver Creek; Miss Bessie May Recher, Nellie G. Leathers and husband Earl C., Irma M. Everly and husband James, all of Hagerstown; Maude Ivy Dubel and husband Alvey, Benevola; Margaret Ellen Itnyre and husband Earl Rex, Boonesboro and Delva Minnick and husband Raymond, Baltimore and three sons, Grover Recher, Waynesboro, Pa.; William Recher and wife Ruth and Earl Josiah Recher and wife Mabel Virginia, Chewsville, seventeen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mary Jane was the last of her immediate family. She was predeceased by one brother, John Wesley Wilson, two sisters, Amanda Ellen Swope Warner, Emma Sophia Brunner two half-brothers, Manassas and Noah Dreyher and one half-sister, Annie Naomi Betts, Ringgold.
A brief service was given at the Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro, with final rites at St. Marks Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev, Raymond L. Markley and internment made in the adjoining cemetery by William F, Bast funeral directors.
