Evelyn played the part of "Rosemary" in the play as did her sister, Elsie Nichols. Evelyn married first Willard Eldridge and they had a son named William Russ Eldridge. She the married Herbert H. Stinson on February 16, 1929 in Hollywood by Catholic priest H. Blackwood, Sr. Anne Nichols and DH Stinson were witnesses.Herbert Hunter Stinson was a writer and had several stories published in the famous "Black Mask" magazine as well as the "Dime Detective " magazine and others. He also wrote a book that was published and called "Fingerprints." He and Evelyn had a daughter, Jo Anne and a son Charles H. Stinson. Her first son later took the last name of Stinson.

It also states that Willard married Evelyn Nichols.
