Mrs. Louis Ganzel Dead
Mrs. Louis Ganzel died suddenly Thursday morning at her home, two miles east of Berlin, from heart failure. She had been in good health, and her death was unexpected. Mrs. Ganzel was born, July 8, 1863, in Illinois, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Paap, and when seven years of age came to this country and has since made her home here. She was one of the well known pioneer women of this county, highly respected, and had a large circle of friends.
She was married to Louis Ganzel, March 7, 1882, and is survived by the husband and the following children: Mrs. Cora Skinner, Cottonwood, Idaho; Mrs. Otto Hackman, Lincoln; Chester Ganzel, Miss Eva Ganzel, Lloyd Ganzel, Berlin; Arnold Ganzel, Cincinnati, Ohio; Alvin Ganzel, Misses Ruby Ganzel and Lulu Ganzel at home. A number of brothers and sisters also survive.
The funeral will be held at the family home Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, the services being conducted by Rev. Mr. Hannel, of the Berlin M.E. Church, of which she was a devoted member. The interment will be at the Berlin cemetery.
